ADGA Plus

ADGA Plus bundles participation in DHIR, Linear Appraisal and DNA testing into one annual enrollment option for ADGA members. It is an add-on to membership, not a separate membership type.

What Is Included?

ADGA Plus participants receive:

Enrollment in DHIR and Linear Appraisal
Three prepaid DNA marker tests through VGL
A discount on additional eligible genetic testing services
Recognition on the ADGA website as an ADGA Plus herd
An ADGA Plus logo for use on websites, social media, and promotional materials
A $15 savings compared with enrolling separately in DHIR and Linear Appraisal

Free subscription reports are not included in 2026. ADGA plans to restore this benefit when the necessary programming becomes available.

Linear Appraisal Availability

Members may enroll in ADGA Plus even when Linear Appraisal is not currently offered in their area.

If ADGA is unable to provide an appraisal because of scheduling restrictions, the $45 Linear Appraisal fee will be reimbursed by the end of 2026.

Using Your DNA Tests

The three included DNA tests must be requested during the participating year and do not carry over to the following year. Requests must be submitted by December 31.

When you are ready to use the tests, submit a DNA request through the ADGA Online Application and identify the three animals to be tested.

How to Enroll

Join ADGA Plus and combine DHIR, Linear Appraisal, and included DNA testing benefits through one annual enrollment. A current ADGA Membership is required to enroll.
