The Harvey Considine Memorial Fund provides financial assistance to eligible individuals pursuing or renewing an ADGA judging license.
The stipend honors Harvey Considine, who strongly supported ADGA’s official judges training program and regularly mentored individuals interested in becoming licensed dairy goat judges.
What Does the Stipend Provide?
One or more eligible applicants may receive a $500 stipend to help offset the cost of attending an ADGA Judges Training Conference.
Receiving a stipend does not replace any conference registration, application, testing or licensing requirements.
Who Is Eligible?
Applicants must:
- Hold an Individual Regular ADGA membership
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a new candidate for an ADGA judging license or a first-time renewing candidate
How Do I Apply?
A complete application must include:
- The Harvey Considine Memorial Fund Stipend cover sheet
- An essay of no more than 1,000 words describing the applicant’s dairy goat experience and reasons for wanting to become an ADGA-licensed judge
- Up to three letters of reference
References may come from individuals such as:
- ADGA judges
- ADGA directors
- Reputable dairy goat breeders
- Youth project leaders
- Vocational agriculture instructors

When Is the Deadline?
Applications must be postmarked by March 1.
Applicants should allow enough time to request reference letters and prepare all required materials before the deadline.
